Kenya's Best Of The Central/ Western-For Safari From Nairobi and Coast

NAKURU NATIONAL PARK (CENTRAL)

This is the largest Flamingo spectacle on earth. The park measuring 188sqkm west established in 1967 as a National Park. It comprises of the Lake and A cocktail of vegetation ranging from wooden grasslands to yellow acacia woodlands. The Eastern edge of the Lake there is the largest single euphorbia forest ever to be seen in Africa. This is the home of the rare white Rhino and White stocking legged Rothchild’s giraffe among other animals and bird life.

LAKE BOGORIA NATIONAL RESERVE (NOTHERN)

North of Nakuru 011 the Great Rift Valley lies L. Bogoria National Reserve which measures 107sqkm. It is here that you get to learn how the Great Rift Valley was formed by the boiling steam activities, a geological wonder any visitor can not afford to miss. This is framed as the most beautiful spectacle of the Great Rift Valley lakes.

LAKE BARINGO (NOTHERN)

This is a paradise for bird watchers. Over 400 different species of bird life have been identified in this lake. It is however, the home pf Hippos and Crocodiles. A small lake Gibraltar houses the largest of Goliath Herons in East Africa.


MASAAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE. (WESTEN)

The Masaai Mara is described as Kenya’s animal paradise .This 1672 sq .km National Reserve is ever rich in wildlife. It is the home of black managed lion. The wildebeest, the rather elusive cheetah, the leopard and different types of plains game and bird life. Bordering Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, the wildebeest migration to Kenya in search of pasture between July and October is a scene any visitor to Kenya cannot miss.
